ThameWatch   Keeping an eye open for the residents of Thame

Welcome to ThameWatch the web site set up for residents of Thame to keep in touch with town planning and service matters that concern everyone. This is meant to be a forum of information submitted by almost anyone with a legitimate interest in the town of Thame. Residents Associations, individuals, business owners are invited to submit information, articles and opinions which may not have found a publicity source in local newspapers or even news web sites. We hope to archive information that may have been submitted to Local Councils but will otherwise not see the light of day. The object is to keep everyone aware of issues that are being pursued by residents for which there may be a common purpose or even objections, which may not be aired for the lack of a co-ordinated information source. Of course, we do not expect some issues to be submitted where the perpetrators are trying to slide something, like a planning application, through under the public radar. We will be dependent upon local residents keeping us informed of those lamppost notices nearby to proposed changes of use or property extensions. Information made available on this site will be strictly at the discretion of the site promoters who will endeavour to be open minded in the support of the town of Thame but inappropriate letters, text, links to unsavoury sites will be resisted. The views and opinions expressed within the pages of this web site do not necessarily reflect those of the site promoters and will be wholly attributed to the authors. Full names and addresses must be provided but will not be published if the authors request some degree of protection from harassment or over zealous mailing.
